SCHOLARS

Our Scholars have gone on to attend the nation’s top universities. There are now over 80 alumni in college and beyond.

Alumni continue to be involved by mentoring younger Scholars, helping with program development, utilizing the Atlas Scholars network to pursue college internships, and contributing to fund the program. The program serves as a lifelong network for support and growth.

Hear from a few of our SCHOLARS

Karis Vickers
Atlas Scholars Class of 2024 — UT - San Antonio

Atlas Scholars is a dynamic program that definitely prepared me for college and life in more ways than one. I went from a clueless high school student to a more vigilant, wise and prepared student ready for a lot of the blows college has thrown my way. The program taught me how to be a professional so I walked into my jobs with the training needed to excel in those roles without the help of my bosses.

Victor Lu Zhang
Atlas Scholars Class of 2024 — Notre Dame

Before becoming an Atlas Scholar, I was already aware that opportunities come and go, and once they come, you must make the most of them. However, throughout my years of being a scholar, the main takeaway that I have is that if an opportunity is not presented to you, you must take the initiative to create it yourself.

Levi Salem
Atlas Scholars Class of 2025 — UT - Austin

I realized that my struggles shaped me into an individual who learned to lean in when things got hard, not pull back. With every new Summer that I walked amongst other Atlas Scholars, obstacles stopped feeling like threats and started to feel more like opportunities.

Samantha Acosta
Atlas Scholars Class of 2027 — Kempner High School

Atlas Scholars did not only change my mindset, but it also changed me as a person. Atlas taught me how and when to be professional, how to learn from my mistakes and how to improve. It is not only a privilege, but an honor, to be an Atlas Scholar.

Sam Buley

Atlas Scholars has opened doors for me that I never would have access to otherwise. It has given me access to valuable mentorship from all kinds of people – be it college students, entrepreneurs, or leaders of the energy industry.
